My Favorite Amazon Health & Fitness Finds

Anyone else on a health journey? (Hand raised over here) If you’ve followed me for very long then you probably know I’m on a mission to be the fittest ever for my 40th birthday. Naturally, this gives me an excuse to buy a few things to help me on this journey and I thought I’d pass some of my favs on to you.

  1. Weighted Vest– I finally bought myself a weighted vest after gifting it to several other people, and I’m loving it just as much as I thought I would. I went for the 20lb vest since I’ve being lifting for many years and I knew I could handle it, but if you’re just starting out on your fitness journey, then I’d go for something lighter and work yourself up. I like this one because it has a removable pouch for my phone so if I want my phone with me then I can carry it hands free. If you’re looking to level up your daily walks, then a weighted vest is the ticket.
  2. Dumbbells– Next up, dumbbells. These are a non-negotiable if you’re looking to make some gains. Free weights are going to build that muscle. Dumbbells can be spendy, especially if you’re building a home gym and need a variety of weights, so I suggest hitting up Amazon when they are having Prime Days.
  3. Goat Whey Protein– You’ve probably heard the latest health chatter that hitting your daily protein goal is essential if you’re looking to lose weight and gain muscle. Protein has to be a priority to see your body change. It helps keep you full and builds that lean tissue muscle. I love the Goat Whey Protein by Eilte Fuel because it’s so clean and easy for me to digest. It only has three ingredients: Goat Whey Concentrate, vanilla bean powder, and stevia. That’s it! I’ve used it for over 10 years. I’ll have a couple scoops after I workout in a smoothie or just with water. I also use it in protein balls and protein pancakes. It comes in chocolate too! Don’t let “goat” scare you away…this is the best goat I’ve ever tried!
  4. Deep Nutrition Book– I love learning about health and how I can be getting better in this area. I read Deep Nutrition several years back, and it completely changed my life. It’s hard to explain, but you know when you read a book and think “that’s good info” but then you kinda forget it and don’t apply what you learned? I’ve been guilty of that many times, but Deep Nutrition was so impactful that I actually started implementing what I was reading. I’ve gone back to it over the years for a refresher and it’s still so good! I highly recommend! It comes in audiobook format as well.
  5. Flux Footwear Adapt Runners– I love these tennis shoes so much that I wore out the first pair and recently just got a second pair. I love that they have a wide toe box so my toes aren’t scrunched up. The knit material is very breathable and I’ve walked miles in them and never got a blister. They do run small so I would size up half a size. My sisters have these shoes as well as my parents and we all love them! They are great for running, but I mostly used mine for walking or to wear at work.
  6. Elite Fuel Creatine– If you’ve been in the health or fitness space for very long (or if you’ve scrolled through IG) you’ve probably seen something about Creatine and how everyone should be taking it. Creatine is not only great to build muscle, but for so many other things like your brain and sleep. I take a scoop with my aminos every day and drink it during my workout. I like the Elite Fuel Creatine because it’s sourced from Germany and not China. At this point, Creatine is a no-brainer and a non-negotiable in my fitness routine.
  7. Apple Watch– My Apple Watch has been clutch as I have a goal to take at least 10,000 steps a day. I like that it prompts me to make sure I hit my fitness goals. I know that there’s step counters out there that are much cheaper that you can wear on your waist, but I’ve tried those in the past and it ends up falling off or I bump it. I’ve had an Apple Watch for several years now and I just really like it. I like having it as a watch too. Obviously, there’s a lot you can do with an Apple Watch besides using it for a step counter, and it’s not necessary, but boy is it fun to have.
  8. Blendtec– Ever used a blender that just wasn’t up to the task and the ingredients just sat in there while the blender started emitting a burning smell? No? Just me? I’ve used many blenders over the years from a Bullet to a Vita-Mix and nothing compares to the Blendtec. It just gets the job done. No matter if I throw a bunch of ice at it, it can handle it. Yes, I have to add liquid, but it’s just more powerful than any other blender I’ve tried. I don’t have to coax it along. This is essential since I’m making protein smoothies on the daily. I like that it has multiple settings depending on what you’re mixing up. I’ve had my Blendtec for many years and it’s still going strong!

There you have it! Some of my favorite Amazon finds to help me on my fitness journey. I hope this gives you some inspiration on your own journey. You can check out the whole list here.
